* Registered Nurse Grade 1 * Fixed Term – 24 months, 9 days per fortnight. 0.9 EFT. * 1 Nursing Position

Mercy Mental Health is seeking to employ enthusiastic new graduate nurses keen to complete a graduate and post graduate year specialising in mental health.

We will provide you with the necessary clinical experience and clinical support during your placement to ensure you develop from a ‘novice practitioner’ to a competent and effective member of the mental health care team.

You will have the opportunity to work within a variety of mental health teams on a rotational basis. The position includes supervision and professional development.

Eligibility

* Completion of a nursing undergraduate course this year. * Eligible for registration with the Nurses Registration Board of Victoria.

* 250 word statement outlining your reasons for applying for the Mental Health Graduate Program at Mercy Mental Health. * CV to include all undergraduate placements * A copy of three clinical placement appraisals (one 2nd year psychiatric clinical appraisal and two recent 3rd year clinical appraisals) * A certified transcript of all university results (including ‘key to results’) * Names, addresses and contact numbers of three clinical referees
